Dan Hivry began working for Shortrounds Deli & Catering when school let out in high school and on weekends. During his college years in Pennsylvania, he would regularly make the drive home to help on weekends and throughout the summer.  A happily married couple, Mary and John, owned Shortrounds and considered Dan part of their family. When Mary sadly passed away unexpectedly, Dan stepped up to help keep the business afloat. He soon realized this was what he was meant to do. 

 

In 2015, Dan moved Shortrounds to the quaint community of Emerson, NJ. The town has been so welcoming and customers are super supportive. Many of the specialty sandwiches are named after Emerson nostalgic history. Shortrounds welcomes anyone looking for a cup of coffee, a quick bite or a catered affair.
